We live in an apartment in Nashville, Tennessee. There is never a dull moment. We have 2 French Bulldogs and 2 Chinchillas,Helen and Stanley, and a slider turtle named Myrtle oh yep, we have an awesome garden.
Have decided to take advantage of all the space that is around us off the patio area. Stay tuned for flowers blooming, from flowers will become a fruit or a vegetable, and of course the harvest. Thinking about canning something this year, nothing else perhaps some salsa. When I say "We" I refer to my partner of 4 years. He is a pastry chef by trade.Garrett makes more than pastries and cakes, he can make a mean meal! He also makes customized works of art we like to call "cakes". In addition he makes desserts and cupcakes and pies…the best being Lemon Icebox Pie!
He does it all and keeps me well fed, and that is sometimes hard to do. Love to work in the garden, and we both take care of all of our pets. Living in harmony is our motto.
Stay tuned for photos of harvesting peppers, herbs, tomatoes, and of course the "evening blend" of sunflowers that are planted in the garden. Also I love to post pictures of our pets and flowers and veggies as they come into fruition. If you have any questions or concerns, please just ask! I like all sorts or music! I prefer dance, trance, but I love Madonna and Lady Gaga and some Country too. Showtunes, and just some jazzy tunes as well, I appreciate all sorts of music….and nature. I love the simple things in life.
